Recipe for Banana Nut Bread

This is another all time favorite banana bread recipe, this time we will be adding nuts to the banana bread batter. Again the banana nut bread recipe is a very simple one.

For This Banana Nut Bread Recipe You are going to Require:

1 cup of walnuts, 1 3/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 3/4 cup of white sugar, 1 teaspoons baking powder, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 2 large eggs, lightly beaten, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 4-5 ripe bananas, 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1. First you have to prepare the nuts. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and set the nuts on the baking sheet. You must bake the nuts for a little less than 10 minutes until they are lightly toasted. Then chop them to pieces, you will use later for your banana nut bread. Now leave the oven on and continue…

2. Take a large bowl and throw in the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nuts. Now take one more bowl (it can be smaller) and mix in the wet ingredients. Mix in mashed bananas, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla. Now you can mash the bananas before with a fork. Or if they’re not that soft and ripe you may use a stick hand blender. Or you could use the blender right after you place bananas, eggs and butter into the bowl.

3. Now mix in the stuff from banana bowl into the flour bowl. Mix so there’s no flour lumps left. Pour the banana batter into the bread pan and bake it for around one hour. You may test if your bread is prepared by sticking a toothpick in to the bread. When it comes out clean, your banana nut bread is ready.
