Self Saucing Pudding
Place in a deep, oven proof ceramic dish:
1 Cup SR Flour
1 Level Tablespoon Cocoa
½ Cup White Sugar
1 Tablespoon Melted Margarine
Enough Milk to form a Thick Batter
Heat In a saucepan:
1 Heaped Tablespoon Cocoa
2/3 Cup Brown Sugar
2 Cups Hot Water
1. Pour Saucepan Contents into Dish
2. Bake for 30mins at 200°C (392°F)
3. Self Saucing Pudding is ready when it becomes a cake, floating in a sea of liquid chocolate sauce…
4. Serve a piece in a bowl, and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
I recommended it to be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it tastes great on a cold, wintery afternoon. Enjoy !
